You may remember the Teraflex Adventure Prospector TJ in the June 2008 issue of 4WD&SU Magazine. In the feature we said, "... this Jeep may be the perfect mix of products that enhance the Wrangler's OE performance and allow it to tackle extremely tough trails with ease. Curt Hildebrand and Teraflex have done it again -- this time to a two-door JK.

Curt is an engineer with a passion for 'wheeling. He designed Revolver spring shackles and many other parts for Jeeps, and has also competed in rock crawling from its inception. Now, besides working on his own vehicle design, which we'll be telling you about later, he's the special projects R&D manager at Teraflex. For his street-legal daily driver and trail explorer, Curt told us he chose to build a 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler because, "It is the best `out-of-the-box' vehicle."

"Best out-of-the-box" should mean that it doesn't take much to build a competent JK. Curt shows us that it doesn't. Teraflex's Adventure Prospector series of vehicles work on the road or off and this JK has earned its Adventure Prospector name well. Curt's Wrangler is simple, clean, and it works. When we asked him what he would do if he had to build this Wrangler again, he exclaimed, "I wouldn't change a thing!"
